super win for the U-13s today from the start up till the last minute not letting Tullamore have any chance of playing the birr lads where first to every ball winning every tackle and playing good quick football The 3 goals all came from Rian O’Meara who was outstanding today never stopped running he left the 3rd goal for the goal of the day a Dennis bergkamp style goal outstanding. There was a good few lads that could of got man of match but it has to go to jack Carroll for his talking in the back line and was solid with every tackle. U-13 willow Celtic vs Birr Town Blues - October 29th
Outstanding from the birr lads on a wet windy morning in Athlone they didn’t let it bother them as played some lovely quick football with some great goals scored and now it brings them level on 12 points with two other teams in the league and hopefully will only get stronger with each game. Goals from Joel Shobin, Dawid Machel, Ciaran Spain, and Mossy Dooley who was also man of match as covered every part of the pitch.
